A teacher from Primary School asks her students to write a essay about what they would like God to do for them... At the end of the day, while marking the essays, she read one that made her very emotional.
Her husband, who had just walked in, saw her crying and asked her:- 'What happened?'
She answered- 'Read this. It is one of my students' essay.'
'Oh God, tonight I ask you something very special :
Make me into a television. I want to take its place and live like the TV in my house.
Have my own special place, And have my family around ME. To be taken seriously when I talk.... I want to be the centre of attention and be heard without interruptions or questions. I want to receive the same special care that theTV receives even when it is not working. Have the company of my dad when he arrives home from work, even when he is tired. And I want my mom to want me when she is sad and upset, instead of ignoring me... And... I want my brothers to fight to be with me... I want to feel that family just leaves everything aside, every now and then, just to spend some time with me. And last but not least, ensure that I can make them all happy and entertain them... Lord I don't ask you for much... I just want to live like a TV.'
At that moment the husband said :- 'My God, poor kid. What horrible parents!'
The wife looked up at him and said:- 'That essay is our son's !!!

地震發生時如果你正好坐在車裡,馬上離開車內,
If you are inside a vehicle, come out and sit or lie down next to it. If something falls on the vehicle, it will leave an empty space along the sides. See below

Burnt Biscuit
This story is relay to all the children that we have....
Nice story Burnt biscuit
Mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I
remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a
long, hard day at work. That evening, mom placed a plate of eggs,
sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of dad. I remember
waiting to see if anyone noticed.
All dad did was reach for his biscuit, smiled at mom and asked me how
my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but
I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and
ate every bite.
When I got up from the table, I remember hearing mom apologize to dad
for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: Honey, I
love burned biscuits.
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and asked him if he
really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said,
"Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And
besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"
You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people.
I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and
anniversaries just like everyone else.
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each
others' faults - and choosing to celebrate each others differences -
is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and
lasting relationship.
Because in the end, you are the master of your own life, to be happy
or unhappy, to be positive or negative.
We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is
the base of any relationship , be it a husband-wife or parent-child or
friendship.
Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it
in your own.

Thankful...
Every day we have something to be thankful for ........
Today we are thankful that the photographer
was not standing on the other side ..............
Prosper thy neighbour
There once was a farmer who grew award winning corn.
Each year he entered his corn in the state fair where it won a blue ribbon.
One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something
interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer
shared his seed corn with his neighbors.
"How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when
they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?" the reporter
asked.
"Why sir," said the farmer, "didn't you know? The wind picks up pollen from
the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow
inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my
corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn."
Cheers!
